Tetera mágica.

In my trip to Valparaíso, the last stop was  "La Tetera mágica" which is located in Serrano #487, Valparaíso, near to Plaza Sotomayor.

A long time ago, I wanted to go to one of this places called here "teterías".
You can have a good moment with your friends or your family and also you can go there to study with a cup of tea and bread or a piece of cake.

"Tetera mágica" is a lovely place, you can sit down on the floor, but also there are some tables. The light makes it so cozy, and the atmosphere is very quiet. Melodies, paintings, craftsmanship, so on. It offers different flavours of tea, sandwiches, lemon tarts, vegetarian menu, etc. But the best aspect is that they discount students the price of your order.
The flavour which I chose was "mora" and I loved it.

I strongly recommend this place!

Segundo piso (donde puedes sentarte en el suelo)

- En mi viajecito a Valparaíso, la última parada fue "La tetera mágica" localizada en Serrano #487, Valparaíso, cerca de la Plaza Sotomayor.

Hace mucho que quería ir a algunos de estos lugares y una amiga me habló sobre este, asi que fuimos. Tu aquí puedes tener un buen momento con tus amigos, familia, y también puedes ahí para estudiar con una taza de té, pan, o un pedazo de torta.

Tetera Mágica es un adorable lugar; te puedes sentar en el suelo, con cojines, pero también en el primer piso hay mesas. La luz tenue, hace este lugar acogedor, y el ambiente es muy tranquilo. Melodías, cuadros, artesanía, etc. Este ofrece diferentes sabores de té, sandwiches, pie de limón, y también menú vegetariano. Pero lo mejor es que hacen descuento a los estudiantes, solo presentando la TNE.

El sabor que yo elegí fue "mora" y lo amé. Recomiendo este lugar totalmente!

Hi everybody
I hope that you all are having a good week. Today I'm going to show you a little bit of our inheritance, Valparaíso.

A long time ago, I wanted to go across Valparaíso, although I had already visited some places, I hadn't had the chance to visit some characteristic "Cerros", such as, Cerro Alegre and Concepción.
Well, last thursday, some friends and me went to Valparaíso. We arrived at Plaza Sotomayor. These places are so close, so you can go to Cerro Alegre first or Cerro Concepción, as you wish.

So, we took a funicular called El Peral to go to Cerro Alegre. While we were walking, we watched a lot of beautiful painted walls. That  is interesting of Valparaíso, specifically in"cerros". Wherever you walk, it can be seen a fascinating work of art; in houses, in the middle of the street, in lamp post, that's amazing, The restaurants 're totally different, they are more picturesque.

In conclusion, I like Valparaiso because it is a colorful and bright place which just a few cities in Chile can have.

Espero que estén teniendo una buena semana. Hoy les mostraré un poquito de mi paseo por Valparaíso, la ciudad de múltiples colores, el puerto principal.

Hace mucho tiempo que quería recorrer Valparaíso, si bien ya conocía un poco, el plan, y otros lugares, me faltaba por recorrer algunos cerros característicos, el Cerro Alegre y Concepción.
Bueno, el pasado jueves, fuimos a Valparaíso y nos bajamos en la plaza Sotomayor. Luego tomamos el ascensor llamado El Peral para ir al Cerro Alegre. Mientras caminábamos, vimos muchas paredes pintadas (lo cual es caractéristico de Valpo). Eso es lo interesante de Valparaíso en mi opinión, específicamente en los cerros. Donde sea que vayas, tu puedes ver una fantástica obra de arte, en la mitad de la calle, en los postes de luz. Muy filete! Los restaurantes son diferentes, más pintorescos.

En conclusión, me gusta Valpo por su espíritu alegre y colorido lo cual pocas ciudades de Chile pueden tener.

Fashion Riot

Hi everyone

I hope you all had a great long weekend! In my case, I was doing an assesment to the university the whole weekend (terrible, I know), whatever. Today I am back with a little recommendation for you.

I have to say that I love DIY youtube channels, I think doing things by myself is amazing, it isn't necessary to spend a lot of money and I feel better than buying them.

So, many days ago, I was searching for a diy bucket bag and I found this channel, and I really loved it. Its name is FASHION RIOT whose owner is Clara. She presents different DIYs and among others. But which I really want to show you is diy bags, such as, bucket bag, totebag, bagpack, clutch bag, or even folders. 

My favorite video is about a clutch bag which she uses a folder to create a handbag, yeah I know that is amazing! So, I attach the video for you.

The video is spoken in Spanish language. :)

She is very innovative.

Espero que hayan tenido un genial fin de semana largo! lo que es yo, estuve todo el finde haciendo un trabajo para la universidad, horrible. Bueno, hoy vuelvo con mi pequeño consejo de esta semana para ti. 

Debo decir que amo los canales de youtube sobre DIY. Yo pienso que hacer cosas por uno mismo es genial, no es necesario gastar mucha plata y me siento mejor haciendo cosas yo misma que comprándolas.

Hace unos días, estaba buscando un DIY sobre una bucket bag y encontré este filete canal, y me encantó. Su nombre es FASHION RIOT y su dueña es Clara. Ella da diferentes ideas para diy y entre otras cosas. Pero lo que realmente quiero mostrarles es los diy que hace sobre carteras, bolsos, mochilas, carteras de mano e incluso carpetas, etc.

Mi video favorito es sobre una cartera de mano (estilo clutch) la cual ella usa una carpeta para hacerla y otros materiales, es como de mano, pero tu puedes agregarle algun tirante o cadenita.

 Es muy bacán y pueden verlo en su canal, suscribirte  y ver otros videos también. Entonces, les dejo el video para que lo vean.

Hi everyone!

In today's post: the fabulous sneakers from Adidas Originals.

In the past, the superstar shoe was originally released as a low-top version of the Pro Model basketball shoe. But now, they have become part of popular youth fashion culture, and are worn as casual footwear.

The sneakers are not just for doing sports! Now you can dare wear them with dresses, skirts, blouses, jeans, trousers, so on. The adidas superstar are back and they are part of my outfits this winter and there are a lot of styles to match well.

I chose that combination because I think that a ribed dolman dress is perfect to wear it with superstar, as well as with a pair of 3/4 socks

On the other hand, Pharrell Williams released a huge adidas Supercolor Superstar Collection which consists of 50 different colors! In that way, everybody will be able to choose his or her favourite color.

En el post de hoy: Las fabulosas zapatillas Adidas Superstar.

Antiguamente, las zapatillas Superstar se lanzaron originalmente como una versión del modelo de zapatillas de basketball. Pero ahora, se han convertido en parte importante del closet de cada joven y son usados como calzado casual.

Las zapatillas ya no son solo para hacer deporte! Ahora te puedes atrever a usarlas con vestido, faldas, pantalones de tela, jeans, etc. Las Superstar están de vuelta y son parte de mis outfits este invierno. Además hay muchos colores como para combinarlas..

Elegí esta combinación porque encuentro que se ve muy bien el vestido gris con las superstar, al igual que con calcetas 3/4 como las Instances.

Pharrell Williams lanzó una gran colección de Adidas Supercolor Superstar, la cual contiene 50 diferentes colores. Así, cualquiera será capaz de elegir el color que más le acomode y caracterice.

Style icon

The 70's and 90's style of the band called HAIM. 

The American pop rock band consists of the three sisters Danielle, Alana and Este Haim. Since when they were children, music has been very important in their life. Before the band, Danielle was a touring guitarrist of the band "The Strokes", while Este has a degree in Ethnomusicology.

The renowned style of the band has been named by most of fashion magazines because of the mixture of 70's and 90's style in these years. In some interviews, the girls've mentioned some of their style icon, such as, Winona Ryder, Amelia Earhart, Drew Barrymore in the 90's.

Moreover, HAIM is the image of the jeans Levi's 501.

Finally, it is obvious that its style really attract attention and I LOVE IT.

On the other hand, the music is really cool, so if you want to listen to many songs of this band, here I attached  a video of my favorite song of HAIM.

- El grupo americano de  rock pop compuesto por tres hermanas Danielle, Alana y Este Haim. Desde que eran niñas la musica ha sido importante para ellas. Antes de la banda, Danielle era la guitarrista the la banda "The Strokes" en una gira, mientras Este tiene un grado en etnomusicología.

El renombrado estilo de la banda ha sido mencionado por muchas de las famosas revistas de moda debido a la implantación de su mezcla de onda setentera y noventera en estos tiempos. I hope you all are having a good week.

As I said in my first porst, I consider that it isn't necessary to spend a lot of money in order to be in style. For example, the white blouse which I bought it in a thrift shop, the same place that I bought that kind of pants (retro pants) but I made it something similar to "boyfriend jeans"

The white blouse, it is commonly worn and it matches well with everything. (as you can see in photos). It very cheap, elegant, you can wear it with jeans or skirt, different kinds of shoes.

 And also the handbags, I love them because it looks like a mix of casual clothes with a touch of elegance. This handbag is also part of my thrift shop's collection. 

I love secondhand sale! You have to recycle!

Hola mundo!

Espero que todos estén teniendo una buena semana.

- Como dije en la primera entrada de mi blog, yo creo que no es necesario gastar mucha plata para tener el estilo que uno quiere. Por ejemplo, la blusa blanca, la cual fue comprada en una tienda de segunda mano, el mismo lugar donde compré esos pantalones retros de tiro alto (ropa americana) pero yo los corté y los hice algo similar a los "boyfriend jeans"

La blusa blanca está muy de moda en estos tiempos y combina con todo. Es muy barata, elegante y puedes usarla con jeans, faldas y diferentes zapatos.

Tambien, los handbags son lo IN de esta temporada, ya se dejaron de ocupar solo para fiestas formales; ahora se pueden ocupar con ropa casual. Hace lucir como una mezcla de ropa casual con un toque de elegancia. Esta bolso de mano es parte de mi colección de ropa reciclada.

Amo la venta de segunda mano! Debes reciclar!

South of Chile

In summer, I had a well-deserved holidays with my boyfriend, we were a kind of back packer, and we went to the south of our country, Chile. The story was like this: we raised money by selling our old clothes, selling pancakes, English's classes, so on.

First, we travelled to Chillán, a hot city, in order to arrive our destination; Quillón. This is a fantastic place, which has a popular lagoon called "Laguna de Avendaño", is a quite and nice place to live. Although, people say that is more enjoyable on summer than winter. So, We stayed there 2 days and then we travelled to Puerto Montt (9 hours) but we arrived too late so we stayed there in a cozy guesthouse.

I believe that most of people in Chile have visited that city or at least they've heard about it. In my opinion, it is a colorful place, most of the houses havebeen painted with intense colors, such as yellow, red, green, etc.

From Puerto Montt we commuted to Puerto Varas (45 min), an attractive place. There, we took a tour by van. This carried us to different places located in the interior. Such as, "Laguna la Poza", "Laguna verde" (Ensenada), "Saltos del Petrohué" and the last stop and my favorite place "Lago de todos los santos" . In that place, you can camp on the edge of the lake and at the foot of the Osorno volcano. Don't hesitate to do that.

Later, we visited Frutillar, a romantic and dramatic scenery. If you go to the south, you must visit this place.

After that, we went Ancud, located in La isla de Chiloé. If you go to this place, you must visit "el fuerte" which is an important building. That place has a breathtaking view, as you can see on the images.

Finally, we came back to Quillón and we visited "Saltos del Laja".

--En verano, me tomé unas buenas merecidas vacaciones junto a mi pololo en el sur de Chile. La historia fue así: juntamos plata vendiendo nuestra ropa vieja, panqueques, haciendo clases de Inglés, etc.

Primero, viajamos a Chillán, una calurosa ciudad, para así llegar a nuestro destino, Quillón. Este es un lugar fantástico, el cual tiene una atracción llamada "Laguna de Avendaño", la cual es tranquila y y agradable lugar para vivir. Aunque las personas suelen decir que es mejor en verano que en invierno, ya que en este último se siente muy triste. Nos quedamos ahí por 2 días para luego viajar más al sur, a Puerto Montt (9 horas) pero llegamos tan tarde que tuvimos que hospedar en una agradable hostal.

Yo creo que la mayoría de los chilenos han visitado esta ciudad o al menos han escuchado hablar de este. En mi opinión, es un lugar muy colorido y pintoresco ya que muchas casas están pintadas con colores intensos, como amarillo, rojo, verde, etc.

Desde Pto Montt viajamos a Puerto Varas (45 min), un atractivo lugar. Ahí, tomamos un tour en una van la cual nos llevó a diferentes lugares del interior. Tales como, "Laguna la Poza"; "laguna verde" (Ensenada), "Saltos del Petrohué"; y la última parada y mi lugar favorito "Lago de todo los Santos". Allí puedes acampar a la orilla del lago y a los pies del volcán Osorno. NO DUDES EN HACERLO.
Después, visitamos Frutillar, un romántico lugar. Si vas al sur tienes que visitarlo.

Después de eso, fuimos a Ancúd, Chiloé, Si tu vas allá, tienes que visitar "El Fuerte" una importante construcción. Una fantástica vista.

Finalmente volvimos a Quillón y desde ahí visitamos "Saltos del Laja".
